Must.Get.Hand.Fan.

Yesterday I went 19th-century lady naturalist cosplay shopping at Savers (never pay retail!) for a shirtwaist, straw boater, and long skirt a la the above photo of 19th-century women stream larking.

I emerged into the hot parking lot empty handed, but full to the brim with this novel thought: must.get.hand.fan with the more feathers the better.

Creamy deliciousness.

Wouldn't you like to know.

But if I can't find a hand fan perhaps I'll get a fern. They were also popular.
